Mobycon in Chicago at the NACTO conference on November 2

We are organising an exciting workshop: “Advanced Topics in Intersection Design” at the NACTO conference. Mobycon staff will discuss protected intersections, a tool that brings the concept of a complete street into the intersection to create a “complete intersection.”

Mobycon has been innovating in living street design in the Netherlands for over 30 years. We have already applied Dutch design techniques in American's first protected intersection in Davis, California as well as through complete streets designs across Canadian cities such as Ottawa, Calgary, Victoria, and Winnipeg.

This half-day master class at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Chicago draws upon local case studies and international best practices from the Netherlands to examine how various intersection types can better protect all road users.

Our unique hands-on master class will be presented by Mobycon’s Dutch and Canadian experts.

Learn the "Dutch approach" to single and bi-directional cycle tracks, signalized and un-signalized intersections, as well as roundabouts and how you can implement them in the North American context.
