With over 20 years of experience in the ICT and freight transport
domains, Ronald is convinced that ICT allows us to make the transport
chain more intelligent, thus contributing to a more efficient and
sustainable freight transport system. He has worked on numerous
projects for the European Commission, through research, technological
development and demonstration projects. More recently, he has combined
his experience in the ICT domain with the cycling knowledge of his
colleagues, resulting in a number of interesting studies on how ICT
applications and services can be used to increase the safety and
comfort of cyclists.
- Ronald is a committed user of public transport but is an even greater fan of cycling to work!
